About The Band

The Lichfield Concert Band is a friendly Community band based in the Cathedral City of Lichfield. The band plays regularly in a variety of local concerts across Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

We currently have 46 members with a large cross section of ages.

Rehearsals are on a Monday evenings in the Guildhall Lichfield from 7.30 - 9.30pm. Although we strive to play at a high level, the social aspect of the band is also very important. Each year we enjoy a weekend away together; previous visits have taken us to Scarborough, Llandudno, Morecambe, Sidmouth, Paris & Limburg (Lichfield's twin town in Germany). Other socials have included meals out together, bowling, a barn dance and a summer BBQ. 

In April 2016 the band performed at the finals of the National Concert Band Festival at the Royal Northern College Of Music Manchester.
